About the event

Dress warmly and join us on the patio Saturday afternoon October 19th!   You'll have your choice to bring your own pumpkin (advantage being you can choose size, color, shape etc) OR you can choose to have one here waiting for you, standard medium size round orange pumpkin. DETAILS & RULES:

We will supply outdoor work space and some work tools, but please feel free to bring your own.  Once groups have been assembled we'll set a timer for one hour for carving.  Candles will be provided and pumpkins will be lit up after time is up.  There will be mulitple ways to win!! Staff choice, public vote, and multiple categories  (winners announced that night) and online vote (winner annouced later).  All childrens entries will win at least one category!  Runner's up will win certificates, Grand prize: TBA

RULES:

-no pre-carving! pumpkin must be whole and untouched prior to start of the competition

-family category can be teamwork

-kids category should have assistance and supervision with sharp tools but kids must facilitate most of the work independently

-adult category must be single person team

-one hour from first cut to finish
